13 signs you grew up in East Coast

I may be too old for some of the points but the last one is spot on. Loyalty to the east side is uncanny for those who grew up here and I am a prime example. I can't see myself living anywhere else in this island.

YouTube will stop working on the older Apple TV and other aging devices soon

Bye bye YouTube on my Sony TV. Used to save clips to favourites on the TV or mobile and watch it later on TV, now unfortunately the feature is gone.

In Praise of Idleness By Bertrand Russell

85 years later it still speak volumes especially for the overworked. I guess it kind of makes me a bit of both, firstly overworked for a number of years and now leisurely a capitalist, getting returns to fund the industry to produce even more stuff we all don't need. Secondly, eschew the virtue of money with living and learning within the means (not that the returns can afford that much luxury anyway) which actually go against the principal of my funding itself. Ironic? This is something I need to think and explore further. Bet people will say if everyone is like you (not really possible I think) then the economy will collapse.

Like most of my generation, I was brought up on the saying: 'Satan finds some mischief for idle hands to do.' Being a highly virtuous child, I believed all that I was told, and acquired a conscience which has kept me working hard down to the present moment. But although my conscience has controlled…

B'Twin Triban 3 £299.99 review - Cycling Weekly

With all the personal financial prudence for me lately it seems the only exception are bikes. Still, I rather go value for money even for them. I definitely do not need more than what I already have but if I would to get a proper roadie, this would be it (Triban 300 replaces this older model but essentially the same). Totally sold out at Decathlon here (S$559). Maybe I should go and get one next time in Europe and bring it back as luggage. Resist! Resist! The way I look for value, very hard for the local bike shops to earn money from me. :)
